The Lover and the beloved need intimate time together in order to build a solid foundation for their relationship. We live in a time of mass media, internet connections, instant information from around the world, and constant connection to friends and family. Our time to be still with our Lord and Savior has never been more challenging, yet it is imperative to have a quiet time alone with the Trinity. Often, this is considered prayer time where we lay our intentions and problems before God. Yet, quiet time is a time of listening to what the Lord wants to say to us. Sometimes it is simply a matter of enjoying His presence. Christians desire intimacy with God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
